PRODUCTION PROCESS
The production process is a set of activities leading to achieving a given effect that changes the object of work (raw material, semi-finished product) into the intended product (finished product). There are several main types of systems, each of which has its own features and characteristics. Below are some types of manufacturing processes:
1. Unit production (made to order): Characterized by efficiency, available products, often available for individual customer needs.
2. Serial production (mass production): It involves the distribution of the same products or in large quantities.
3. Alternate production (serial production): It involves the production of products in parts or series.
4. Continuous production (continuous production): It is characterized by power supply and uninterrupted flow of materials and power supply.
5. Flexible production (flexible production): The use of advanced technologies such as automation and robotization results in the emergence of different products and availability.
6. Fixed position manufacturing – the product does not change its position during production (e.g. ship production)
